Korallen-Zucht Coral Snow 250 ml

Korallen-Zucht Coral Snow liquid filter media as well as a secondary biological facilitator for elements and nutrition.

Coral Snow liquid will help with yellowing compounds that activated carbon misses. It has also been shown to be beneficial in treating unwanted slime algae and cyanobacteria. The product contains natural calcium-magnesium carbonate and other specialized compounds. Clay-like composition and properties make for a highly absorbent medium that can be taken up by corals and protein skimmers.

This is primarily a secondary biological facilitator for other Korallen-Zucht products like Amino Acids Coral Vitalizer, B-Balance and Potassium-Iodide/Fluoride Concentrate.

Dose Coral Snow 1 mL per 25 US gallons every day mixed with a different product to enhance results. Combine the desired amount of Coral Snow and additive, rest for 5 minutes then add directly to a high flow area of the tank. Initial cloudiness is normal and not harmful. After initial cloudiness disappears you will notice the water is extremely clear, very similar to when fresh activated carbon is added to the tank. Do not exceed recommended amount.

To help eliminate cyano bacteria add one drop of ZEObak per 25 gallons of tank water to Coral Snow. Dose every two days until cyano bacteria is gone.

Marine reef aquariums. This is not a freshwater product.

For small and large polyp stony corals, soft corals and clams, and as a problem-solving tool in its own right.

What it is for. Coral Snow is a liquid carrier. Korallen-Zucht call it a secondary biological facilitator. Dosed with an element such as B-Balance or Potassium-Iodide/Fluoride Concentrate, it carries that element through the tank and onto surfaces instead of letting it disperse. KZ state it is compatible with all of their elements, amino acids and Vitalizer included.

On its own. It neutralises unwanted acids, and it is KZ’s answer to slime algae and cyanobacteria: for that, add 1 to 2 drops of CyanoClean per 100 litres to the Coral Snow dose and put the two in together, daily.

Dose: 1 to 4 ml per 100 litres daily. The water goes cloudy for a while afterwards; Korallen-Zucht state that is harmless to fish and to sensitive corals alike.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
