Red Sea NO₃ PO₄ X is a unique complex of carbons that are used by nutrient reducing bacteria. Each carbon in the complex is utilized by different strains of microorganisms while ensuring the specific Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus ratio required for each stage.

The Red Sea NO₃  PO₄ X complex includes other organic-bonded elements that are important stimulators in each stage of the reduction process. These metal and non-metals elements ensure steady bacterial propagation, complete nitrate reduction to nitrogen gas as well as the absorption and utilization of phosphate by the bacteria.

NO₃: PO₄ -X is easy to use, with a relatively small dose being added to the system on a daily basis. Over time the daily dosage of NO₃: PO₄ -X will be varied (see instructions for use) according to measured levels of nitrate and phosphate, giving the fine control of nitrate and phosphate levels that guarantees the gradual changes and accurate maintenance of the desired nutrient levels.

Compatibility

For marine systems — reef and fish-only. Not for freshwater.

A protein skimmer is required, not optional: the product works by growing bacteria that consume nitrate and phosphate, and the skimmer is what exports that bacterial mass from the system. Without one the nutrients are recycled rather than removed.

It sits alongside the rest of Red Sea's Reef Care Program — Reef Energy and Trace Colors dose normally with it. Do not run it at the same time as another carbon-dosing product (vodka, vinegar, biopellets); they feed the same bacteria and the combined dose is what causes bacterial blooms.

• Average daily dose: 2 ml per 100 litres

• Starting dose: half the average, for the first week
• Target levels: nitrate 1–2.5 ppm

Dose daily into the sump or another high-flow area — daily is what keeps the bacterial population stable; a large weekly dose does not work the same way. At the average dose one bottle covers a 500 litre system for about 100 days.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
