Compatibility

Fluval’s own parts table lists this exact part number, A20053, for all four 07 Series sizes — 107, 207, 307 and 407 — with no size-specific variant, unlike the intake strainer (A20007 for 107/207, A20008 for 307/407) or the impeller cover (a different number for each of the four sizes). This is the one accessory in the 07 Series range that’s genuinely universal across the whole line.

Setup & Use

What it does. The output nozzle disperses the filter’s return flow across a wide pattern rather than a single jet, which keeps fine solids in suspension long enough for the intake strainer to draw them back in, instead of letting them settle on the substrate.

Positioning. Fluval’s own installation steps place the nozzle about 0.8 in. (2 cm) below the tank’s final water level, with the hose connection to the nozzle kept below the waterline to hold a watertight seal, before the rim connector is clicked down to lock the hose in place.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
