Feeding Guide

Raifest do not publish a feeding rate for this specific product. What follows is their own general feeding guidance for the Raifest range, from the manufacturer’s FAQ.

How often: Raifest note that feeding frequency depends on the species, and that most fish need feeding at least once a day. Their observation is that most hobbyists feed twice — once in the morning and once in the evening.

When: most fish feed in the early morning and at dusk, so morning and evening feedings are the best times. The exceptions are herbivores and omnivores that graze all day, and nocturnal species, which are better fed after lights-out. Fish learn feeding time quickly and will come to the front of the tank for it.

How much — the five-minute rule. Raifest’s method: sprinkle some food onto the water and let the fish eat for about five minutes. Whatever they clear in that time is the right amount for that tank. Use that as your measure from then on.

On overfeeding. Raifest are direct about this: fish will eat when they are not hungry, so it is on you to stop. Overfeeding causes more problems than underfeeding — fish become dull and lethargic, and it can cause permanent body deformities. Uneaten food is also the fastest route to an ammonia spike.

Raifest describe these as slow-sinking, highly digestible formulations designed to reduce feed waste, which is what the ‘no cloudy water’ claim on this page rests on — it holds only if you feed to the five-minute rule rather than by eye.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
