Safe is the complete and concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Safe removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Safe converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tanks biofilter. Safe may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Safe detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. Safe is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Safe will not over activate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Safe is the dry version of Prime and shares all of its advantages; however, Safe is even more concentrated than Prime.

NOTE. These directions supersede all other prior packaging.

Directions for 10 g and 50 g

Use 100 mg Safe (scoop) per each 100 L (25 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or per 25 L (6 gallons) for ammonia.

Directions for all other sizes

Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L (300 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L (75 gallons) for ammonia.

May be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in an emergency, up to 4 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is >30C (86F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.

The pack weight is Seachem’s. The dose count and both litre totals are our arithmetic on Seachem’s published rate of 1.25 g per 1,250 L for chlorine and chloramine, or per 300 L for ammonia — they are not a manufacturer claim.

A dry conditioner this concentrated is measured, not poured. Use the quarter-teaspoon measure rather than estimating by eye; the difference between a level and a heaped quarter-teaspoon is a large fraction of a dose.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
