Water Level Sensor

Ultra Reliable. The ReefATO+ sensor features a built-in backup sensor 1″ above the primary sensors to automatically shut down the ATO pump in the event of an overfill. With multiple probes built onto the sensor, an indication of actual water level can always be seen on the ReefBeat App.

Temperature Monitoring

The temperature sensor integrated in the ATO+ sensor has been pre-calibrated to give an accuracy of ±0.1°. The ReefBeat App allows you to set a narrow “desired” temperature range, and a slightly wider “acceptable” range, that will be seen on-line in the ReefBeat App and in the full temperature logs. If the temperature goes outside the acceptable range, you will get a notification to your smartphone. The detailed logs will show you the minimum, maximum and average temperatures at 15-minute intervals for the past 28 days.

ATO Pump

• Quiet, variable flow, 12 vdc ATO pump
• Diameter of just 1.8” to fit inside small ATO reservoir openings

Leak Detector

The highly sensitive, Reef-Spec leak detector (with saltwater resistant titanium probes) detects both saltwater and RO/DI water. If a leak is detected, the ATO Auto-fill is immediately disabled, and after a few seconds to confirm that the leak persists, the controller sounds an optional audible alarm and sends a notification to your mobile device.

Connect the Leak Detector to the Emergency Quick-action for the aquarium and ReefBeat eco-system will automatically shut down other ReefBeat devices such as the ReefRun return pumps.

Smart Controller

Reliably control all the ReefATO+ components and connect them to the ReefBeat ecosystem where you can view the current water level in the pump chamber, see the number of fills and volume of water added to your aquarium over the last 28 days, monitor records of minimum/maximum/average aquarium water temperature over the last 28 days, and modify settings to meet your aquarium’s needs. Connection to the ReefBeat App will also allow you to receive notifications if something goes wrong.

Safety & Precautions

• Indoor use only. Use only the power supply that came with the unit — a supply rated for fewer watts than the appliance can overheat.
• Do not run the unit if the cord or plug is damaged, if it is malfunctioning, or if it has been dropped. Do not attempt a cord repair yourself; return it for service or discard it.
• Leave a drip loop in every cord — the low point of the cable must sit below the socket so water running down the cable drips off rather than reaching the outlet. If a plug or socket does get wet, do not unplug it: kill the circuit at the breaker first.
• Unplug before fitting or removing parts and before cleaning. Pull the plug, never the cord.
• Keep children away from the equipment, and do not touch moving parts while it is running.
• Do not install or store it where it will be exposed to weather or to temperatures below freezing.
• The ATO+ controller is built to sit in a humid environment but it is not waterproof. Mount it where it will not be splashed or dripped on.
• Plan the cable runs rather than extending them. Red Sea supply 2 m / 6.5 ft on the power supply and 3 m / 10 ft each on the pump, the level and temperature sensor and the leak detector.
• Leave the Auto-Fill switched off after installation until the system is filled to its normal operating level with saltwater.
• The backup probes sit about 2.5 cm / 1″ above the primary sensors and cut the pump if the level ever gets past them. Treat that as a last-resort catch, not a working control — it means something else has already failed.
• Auto-Fill disables itself on a missing, over-running, dry or blocked pump, on a missing level sensor, and on a detected leak. If your top-off has stopped, look for one of those causes before assuming the unit is faulty.
• A detected leak disables Auto-Fill immediately, then after a few seconds’ confirmation sounds an audible alarm and notifies your phone. The leak detector can also be wired to the aquarium’s Emergency Quick-action so a leak shuts down other ReefBeat devices — the return pump above all.
• The leak detector’s titanium probes read anything from RODI to seawater. Site it where water would actually collect first, not where it is convenient.
• Notifications only reach you while the controller has internet. A top-off system you are not watching is a top-off system that can empty a reservoir into a cabinet.

Warranty & Support

This product is covered by warranty as per the manufacturer policy, against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
