Seachem’s versatile Algae Scraper features three retractable blades — metal, plastic, and soft pad — safe for both glass and acrylic aquariums.

Specifications

A three-in-one algae scraper: metal blade, plastic blade and soft pad, all housed in a retractable head on an ergonomic handle.

The body is white, so algae shows against it and you can see what you have actually cleaned. It floats, and there is a hanging hole in the handle for storage.

Blade, pad and cartridge refills are available separately, so the handle is a one-off purchase.

Setup & Use

Three heads retract into the same handle: a metal blade for stubborn algae on glass only, a plastic blade that is safe on glass and, used carefully, on acrylic, and a soft pad for acrylic.

Never take the metal blade to an acrylic tank — it will scratch it permanently. On any tank, keep the blade clear of the gravel line: a grain of sand caught under a blade scratches glass as readily as acrylic.

Safe in fresh water and salt water. It floats, so a dropped scraper comes back up rather than landing in the aquascape.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
