Freshwater dwarf shrimp (Caridina and Neocaridina species) are specialized in grazing on the biofilms on different surfaces. Their claws are not really suitable for taking food apart but have many stiff bristles, with which they brush off food from surfaces. Natural biofilms are vital especially for baby shrimp. Shrimp King Bio Tase Active was especially designed for boosting the formation of natural aufwuchs and biofilms in the aquarium. Selected natural substances serve as food for bacteria, unicellular organisms and other microbes and boost their growth. Permanent regeneration of the “green layer” on rocks and driftwood – algae aufwuchs rich in vitamins – is enhanced.

At the same time, Bio Tase Active provides all shrimp with essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential amino acids. Prebiotic mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) in combination with probiotic lactic acid bacteria (Pediococcus acidilactici) make the digestive process more efficient and lay the cornerstone for a healthy intestine. Valuable ß-glucane from yeast cells strengthens the shrimp’s immune response.

The bacteria cultures of Bacillus subtilis contained in Bio Tase Active break down organic waste, muck and other noxious substances, thus providing the optimal conditions for efficient biological self-cleaning processes in the aquarium, resulting in the best water quality and healthy living conditions for the shrimp. Their work is supported by natural cleansing minerals that bind to noxious substances and help clearing the water. The total hardness and the carbonate hardness of the water are not affected.

Dosage and use
Depending on the number of shrimp in the tank, add 1-2 level measuring spoons per 50 l of tank water 1-2 times a day.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
