Sicce also sell this pump with a 1.5 m indoor cable and with a 10 m outdoor cable under different article numbers. The one we stock is RSYH03E, the 2.2 m indoor version with a two-pin EU plug.

What Sicce do not publish for this model:

• A noise figure
• Pump dimensions or weight
• Current draw for the 230 V version (Sicce’s manual prints an ampere row, but the values are laid out in a way that cannot be read back to a model with certainty)
• A maximum immersion depth

Those rows are not on Sicce’s specification table or in the instruction manual for this pump, so we have left them blank rather than fill them in from a similar model. If one of them decides your purchase, ask us before ordering and we will put the question to Sicce.

Compatibility

Sicce list the Syncra Silent line for fresh water and marine aquariums, terrariums and turtle tanks, protein skimmers, water cooling, hydroponics, and indoor and outdoor fountains — anywhere that wants a high-output pump that stays quiet.

This is a Wet & Dry pump. It runs fully submerged or inline out of the water, and a thermal cut-out protects it from overheating when it runs dry-mounted. In inline use the intake grill comes off.

It runs on 230–240 V / 50 Hz, which is Indian mains.

Plumbing: 3/4" GAS on both intake and outlet, for 21–26 mm hose. Two stepped hose adaptors come with the pump, so it takes flexible or rigid pipe without anything extra bought in.

Cable length matters here. Ours is the 2.2 m version, and Sicce class the short-cable Syncra models as indoor only. It is the 10-metre-cable version that Sicce class as suitable for outdoor use — a different article number, not this one.

Optional, sold separately: a 2 mm bottom suction grid (61N243) for when the pump has to sit where it will pick up solids, and a filter kit (SKT0150/OL).

Setup & Use

Sicce’s own installation sequence:

1. Push the suction cups into the holes underneath the pump body.
2. Clean the glass or basin wall where the pump will sit, then press the pump onto it firmly enough for the cups to grip.
3. Set the flow with the regulator on the front of the pump — it runs continuously from minimum to maximum, so you can trim output without throttling the outlet.
4. For inline (dry) use instead: take the intake grill off, position the flow regulator to the grain and detach it by pushing it gently out of its seat, screw the two threaded adaptors into the inlet and outlet, and connect your pipework.
5. Plug it in last.

Cleaning. Unplug the pump and take it out. Remove the pre-filter, then the ring nut, then the threaded pre-chamber. Pull the rotor out and rinse it in fresh water. Check the O-rings every single time — Sicce are blunt that even slight damage to an O-ring seriously hurts pump performance, and the fix is replacement, not reassembly. Rinse every part, use a soft brush to shift deposits, and put it back together in reverse order. There are no screws anywhere in the pump.

Safety & Precautions

• Always isolate the pump from the mains before installing it or doing any maintenance. Sicce require the supply to run through a residual current device (RCD) rated at no more than 30 mA.
• The pump has a type Z cable link. Neither the cable nor the plug can be replaced or repaired — if either is damaged the whole pump has to be replaced. Do not run it with a damaged cord or plug, or after it has been dropped or has started misbehaving.
• Never run it without water in the impeller chamber. Running dry damages the motor and is not covered by warranty.
• Rated for liquids and surroundings up to 35 °C / 95 °F. Do not use it with corrosive or abrasive liquids, and do not use it for anything other than the applications Sicce list — bathroom and similar uses are specifically excluded.
• Leave a drip loop in the cable: the lowest point of the cord must sit below the socket so water running down it drips off rather than reaching the outlet.
• Never lift or carry the pump by its cord during installation or maintenance.
• Not to be used by children, or by anyone who needs supervision, without a responsible adult present.
• Indoor use only for this 2.2 m cable version. Do not install or store it where it will be exposed to weather or to freezing temperatures.
• Make sure the pump is securely mounted before you switch it on, and unplug it before putting your hands in the water or taking anything off it.
• Do not touch the moving parts while it is running.

One note from Sicce that saves a support ticket: limescale deposits and normal wear make these pumps noisier over time. Sicce say plainly that this does not affect how well the pump works, and the fix is a new impeller, not a repair.

Warranty & Support

Sicce warrant this pump for 3 years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, extended to 5 years if you register the product with Sicce.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
