Fish in Aquaria are exposed to elevated risk of infection by pathogens, bacteria and germs resulting in the increased likelihood of disease transmission. This often leads to diseases of weakened and stressed fish. If these are diagnosed too late, it may lead to fatalities for the fish and to the spreading of disease in the aquarium. According to latest scientific research, beta-glucan has proven especially effective in the stimulation of the immune system. Tropic Marin IMMUVIT contains beta-glucan of brewer’s yeast in a concentrated form. The natural B-vitamins of Spirulina and brewer’s yeast are an important contribution to the vitamin supply of the fish; they prevent diseases that occur from nutritional deficiencies and stimulate appetite and vitality.

Compatibility

A food supplement for fish — dusted onto whatever you already feed, in a marine or freshwater tank alike.

Ingredients: spirulina, brewer’s yeast (non-extracted and extracted). Nothing else.

What it is doing. The beta-glucans of brewer’s yeast, in enriched form, are what Tropic Marin are after here — recent studies put them among the more effective activators of a fish’s immune defences. The brewer’s yeast and spirulina also carry natural B vitamins, and the vitamin B12 in particular increases the appetite of aquarium inhabitants. Spirulina brings astaxanthin, which Tropic Marin credit with better colour and fertility.

When it earns its place: fish under stress, newly imported or recovering fish, and any tank where you are trying to get a fussy eater feeding again.

What it is not: not a treatment or a cure. It supports the fish’s own defences and does not act on a pathogen. A fish that is already visibly sick needs a diagnosis and the appropriate medication.

Alongside it: Tropic Marin recommend Lipovit and Lipo-Garlic as the natural companions, for stress resistance, vitality and the wider vitamin supply.

Dosage & Directions

Immuvit is mixed into the food, not into the water.

Rate: Tropic Marin recommend supplementing the fish food at 10% of the dry solids.

In practice, that is:

• 3 level measuring spoons per teaspoon (5 ml) of granulated food, or
• 3 level measuring spoons per tablespoon (15 ml) of frozen or flaked food.

Mix it thoroughly through the food before feeding.

Overdosing: Tropic Marin list “no danger of overdosing” among the product’s benefits. It is spirulina and brewer’s yeast, not a medication.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
