Red Sea’s ReefLED® series is the result of years of research into the lighting needs of corals in artificial environments.
Uniquely designed with a light intensity and spectrum that is 100% utilized by the corals, ReefLED lights are 100% reef-safe & 100% REEF-SPEC®, providing optimal growth, vivid colors, and an elegant gentle shimmer throughout the aquarium.
The ReefLED 90 provides REEF-SPEC PAR levels of 500 beneath the lens at water surface, to 150 at 50cm / 20’’ depth. It is therefore the smart choice for medium-size tanks.
At the heart of the unit is a single, compact LED array, providing 90W of REEF-SPEC & Reef-Safe LED light. It includes 80W of multi-wavelength 23,000 Kelvin REEF-SPEC Blue (a proprietary blend of blue, violet and ultraviolet LEDs), together with 10W of 9,000 Kelvin White, and a separate 3W channel for moonlight. This array enables a wide range of REEF-SPEC light that will please both you and your corals.
The ReefLED 90 is also equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi that allows total control via ReefBeat smart aquarium app (which controls all Red Sea devices). The app includes pre-set lighting programs, along with additional features such as sunrise/sunset effects, lunar cycle moon light, random clouds and even an acclimation program for new installations.

Red Sea do not print an itemised scope of delivery for this product. The list below is built from the parts and components named in Red Sea’s own manual for it. If something on it is missing from your carton, tell us and we will take it up with the distributor.

Setup & Use
Height above the water. Red Sea specify 21 cm / 8½” between the bottom surface of a ReefLED 90 and the water. (For reference, the 50 sits at 17 cm / 6¾” and the 160S at 31 cm / 12¼”.)
Spacing and coverage. One ReefLED 90 covers 60 × 60 cm / 24 × 24″. Red Sea’s recommended maximum spacing between units is 50 cm / 20″. Space them further apart and you get dark bands between fixtures.
Airflow and temperature. The top surface and the sides need unrestricted airflow to shed heat, and ambient temperature should stay below 25 °C / 77 °F. That is worth planning for in an Indian room without air conditioning: a fixture in a closed canopy in a warm room is the classic cause of premature LED and driver failure.
Mounting. Use the arm’s own assembly instructions and keep every part of the fixture dry, the DC jack above all. If you are not using a Red Sea mounting system, the fixture must be fastened so it cannot be dislodged accidentally.
Power supply. Dry, ventilated position; only the supply that came with the light. It has thermal shut-off protection. If it overheats it stops. Let it cool, then disconnect and reconnect the AC supply to bring it back.
Reading the LEDs. The power indicator is red whenever DC power is present. The settings indicator is solid red when the light is on your home network, blinking red in Wi-Fi Access Point mode, off when Wi-Fi is off, and double-blinks to mark a change of status.
Settings button. Five seconds turns AP mode on, turns Wi-Fi off, or disconnects a connected unit back to AP mode, depending on which state it is in. Fifteen seconds deletes every user setting and switches off Wi-Fi. Complete that reset by disconnecting and reconnecting DC power. Delete the unit from ReefBeat’s Device Manager first, in either case.
Order of work. If this is your first Red Sea connected device, finish the physical installation before installing ReefBeat, and take care to select the correct world time zone during set-up. The whole daily programme hangs off it.
This is a ReefBeat device. Full functionality needs Red Sea’s free ReefBeat app on an Android or iOS phone or tablet, a home Wi-Fi network and a live internet connection. Without internet you can still run it in Offline or Direct mode, but remote access, control from more than one device and status notifications are not available.
Warranty & Support
This product is covered by warranty as per the manufacturer policy, against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
