DIGITAL THERMOSTAT

• Intuitive setting of functions and accurate temperature detection, resolution 0.1°C/0.2°F. The setting range is 5°-35°C (41°F-95°F) and there is a closed loop temperature control system with high accuracy and extremely tight differential (0.5°C/1°F). Displayed temperature is in °C or °F and there are security alarms.

• The chiller, with its innovative design, is characterized by a solid structure designed to guarantee a perfect protection against rust. The functionality of the shape and the compact size are also suitable for confined spaces.

UNIQUE FEATURE

• The innovative TECO air SYSTEM (Figure 1) makes it possible to rotate the conveyor, thus ensuring optimal air exchange for the chiller and heat output from the cabinet. Quick and easy magnetic air filter maintenance. Moreover, the innovative “pinch off plier” allows easy removal of the chiller for maintenance. The standard built-in heater ensures continuous and optimal maintenance of temperature in all use conditions.

Setup & Use

Plumb the chiller in line on its own feed pump — drawn from the sump and returned to the sump — rather than on the display return, so a chiller fault cannot stop flow to the tank. Match the pump to the 500–800 l/h window: too slow and the water over-cools inside the exchanger, too fast and it barely drops in temperature.

Stand it on a level surface with clear air on all sides and above. It vents heat into the room, so a closed cabinet needs ventilation or the chiller will fight its own exhaust.

Set your target temperature on the thermostat and leave the feed pump running continuously. The compressor cycles on the differential by itself.

Compatibility

Freshwater and marine, including reef systems, up to about 750 litres. The titanium exchanger has no copper anywhere in the water path, so it is safe with invertebrates. Any pump delivering 500–800 l/h at the head of your plumbing run will drive it.

This is the chiller-only model. Teco’s combined chiller and heater is a separate model at a different price — if you want both functions in one unit, that is the one to order.

Safety & Precautions

Use an earthed 3-pin supply and leave a drip loop in the cable. Never run the chiller dry — start the feed pump first and confirm flow before switching it on.

R290 is a flammable refrigerant. Keep the unit away from open flame and do not attempt to service the sealed refrigerant circuit yourself. Leave the ventilation clearance the manual specifies; blocking it is the most common cause of poor cooling and short compressor life.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.

Warranty & Support

This product carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, covering material and manufacturing defects.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.
