Replenish is a proprietary blend of salts designed to replenish physiologically relevant minerals that are removed by reverse osmosis or deionizing filtration. Replenish restores General Hardness (GH) using a balanced blend of both “soft” (sodium, potassium) and “hard” (calcium, magnesium) salts. Restoration of mineral content is essential since a complete lack of minerals will result in osmotic stress in those species whose osmoregulation systems are adapted to a mineralized environment. Severe osmotic stress can result in osmotic shock which will lead to rapid death.

Compatibility

What it is. Replenish is Seachem’s mineral-restoration supplement for reverse-osmosis or deionized water: a blend of calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium salts that rebuilds general hardness (GH) after RO/DI has stripped it out.

Where this sits in the Seachem range. Not for planted tanks. Replenish contains sodium and chloride, which Seachem’s own guidance flags as harmful to plants; a planted aquarium should use Equilibrium instead, which restores the same minerals without either.

Best suited to. Freshwater community tanks without live plants, run on RO/DI water, where GH needs building up from zero rather than fine-tuned around a planting scheme.

Composition & Analysis

Guaranteed analysis, per 1 g: calcium 13.00-14.00%, magnesium (min) 1.20%, potassium (min) 0.12%, sodium 0.60-0.70%. Derived from calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium chloride and potassium chloride.

Dosage & Directions

Seachem’s own dose. Add 5 mL (1 capful) per 40 L (10 US gallons) to raise GH by 1 meq/L (2.8 dGH).

Building up RO/DI water from scratch. Seachem’s recommended restoration level is 1-2 meq/L, which works out to 5 mL per 20-40 L (5-10 US gallons).

Why it matters. Restoring GH isn’t cosmetic: Seachem’s own guidance is that it’s necessary to prevent osmotic stress and osmotic shock in fish moved into mineral-free water.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
