The Aquavitro Sentia Doser Modular Aquarium Doser incorporates a host of fresh features built on the solid foundation of a peristaltic pump. Connect unlimited Secondary Units to the Primary Unit and control them all from the same app on your smartphone. Automatically create suggested dosing schedules or create your own with complete versatility of days of the week, time of day, doses per day, total volume and volume per dose.

Add Multiple Dosers with Ease.

Maybe you only need one doser. Maybe you need three… or 15. Connect unlimited Secondary Units to the Primary Unit and control them all from the same app on your smartphone. Remove the side panels and simply slide what you need in place. All powered by one Primary Unit.

Mounting Bracket Included.

The included, removable mounting bracket allows you to mount the dosing units. It is not necessary when placed on a horizontal surface, but it also works as a pedestal in this orientation.

Rotating Head.

The head rotates 360-degrees with 8 locking positions so you can mount the units in any orientation you like with the freedom to organize and manage the lines any way you see fit.

Slim Profile.

A single unit is just 2.625″ wide. Slim profile design means more dosers in less space. Even with 8 units, once removing the side panels and connecting each unit, the total length is under 17″.

Receive alerts and reminders, and review dosing logs to keep you in control of your dosing regimen. Multiple Dosing Modes.

In addition to the ability to manually dose using the pump itself, you can do an Instant Dose using the app at anytime, but of course the real advantages come from the versatility in scheduling and the four different dosing modes that allow you to more easily dial in the correct doses and best schedule for your system.

Specifications

• Peristaltic pump head, supplied already assembled.
• The head rotates through 360° and locks in any of eight positions, so the unit can sit horizontally, vertically or on the diagonal and the lines still run tidily.
• Width of a single unit: 2.625 inches (about 67 mm). Eight units joined together, with the inner side panels removed, come in under 17 inches (43 cm) overall.
• Three pump speeds: slow, medium and fast. Any change of speed requires recalibration.
• Approximately 1 metre of tubing supplied per unit. Additional tubing is sold in 3 metre lengths.
• Seven colour rings for the pump head and seven matching tube clips per unit: red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue and purple.
• Control by Wi-Fi through the sentia app for Android and iOS, plus a manual dose button on the unit itself.
• Non-submersible, IP20 rated, indoor use only. Maximum ambient or liquid temperature 35 °C (95 °F).
• Warranty: three years, extendable to five on registration with Seachem; the pump head is a six-month wear part.

Secondary unit. This unit has no power adaptor and no Wi-Fi radio of its own. It takes both power and its connection to the app from the Primary Control Unit it is joined to, which is why it cannot be used on its own.

What Seachem do not publish. There is no stated flow rate in millilitres per minute, no stated minimum dose volume, and no voltage or wattage figure for the power adaptor anywhere in the sentia dose manual or on the product page. We have not filled those in from anywhere else. What the manual does say is that dosing accuracy comes from calibration rather than from a published rate: you calibrate each head against the actual supplement it will run, which accounts for density, viscosity and the length of your tubing.

Not in the box, and the one that matters: there is no power adaptor. Seachem supply that with the Primary Control Unit only, and it powers the primary and every secondary joined to it. A Secondary Unit on its own will not run.

Compatibility

• Requires a sentia dose Primary Control Unit. The secondary has neither a power supply nor a Wi-Fi connection of its own and takes both from the primary. It is an expansion module, not a standalone doser.
• Any number of Secondary Units can run from one Primary Control Unit, all controlled from the same app.
• Units join by removing the facing side panels and sliding the right-hand unit down onto the left-hand one, then replacing the outer covers. Unplug the adaptor first. They can be joined in any order; the app lists them left to right as top to bottom.
• Mounting: a removable bracket is included, and can be fixed with the supplied screws or the supplied adhesive strips. Adhesive suits smooth surfaces like aquarium glass or acrylic; screws suit wood or anything textured. Mounting plates interlock across a sequence of units. The bracket is optional on a horizontal surface, where it doubles as a pedestal.
• Tubing: connect a tubing connector to each end of the pump head tubing. Facing the head, flow is in through the right tube and out through the left. Any length of run is workable provided you calibrate for it.
• Supplements: scan the barcode of a compatible Seachem or aquavitro product and the app fills in the product and its container volume and can suggest a schedule from the label directions. Anything else is entered by name and dosed on a schedule you set.
• Each unit is calibrated and scheduled separately in the app, so one sequence can dose several different supplements, and, if you run the tubing that far, several different aquariums.

How the app drives it. Registration in the sentia app sets up your account and profile, then you create an aquarium, then you add devices to it. Any number of aquariums can be managed, and a doser can be moved from one to another later. Beyond a plain schedule (total daily dose, doses per day, time window, day interval or specific weekdays), there are four ways of setting the dose: Suggested follows the supplement’s own label directions for your water volume; Calculated takes a measured level and a desired level and works out the dose to close the gap; Quick Adjust nudges an existing schedule by a percentage; and Adaptive takes a test result after a week of running, recommends a new schedule, spreads a catch-up dose over 48 hours or suspends dosing to let a level fall, and sets a reminder to test again.

Safety & Precautions

• Unplug the adaptor before installing the unit or carrying out any maintenance, and check that your mains voltage and frequency match the adaptor before plugging it in.
• Always unplug the power adaptor before connecting or disconnecting any unit in a sequence.
• This unit is not submersible. It is IP20 rated and for indoor use only, and must not be switched on unless it is completely dry. Put it where it cannot fall into water and where splashing, moisture and salt creep will not reach it.
• Make a loop in the cord below the level of the socket, so water running down the cable drips off before it reaches the outlet.
• The cord uses a type Z connection: it cannot be substituted or repaired. If the cord or plug is damaged the whole device is replaced.
• Aquarium use only. Seachem state that using it in any other application may damage its components and voids the warranty immediately.
• Not for corrosive or abrasive liquids. Maximum liquid or ambient temperature 35 °C (95 °F).
• Disconnect every submerged electrical product before putting your hands in the water. If a plug or socket is damaged, switch off at the breaker before pulling the plug.
• Not designed for use by children or by anyone who needs supervision; an adult responsible for safety should be present.
• Calibrate with the supplement itself, never with water. Density and viscosity change how much the head actually delivers, so a head calibrated on water will dose the wrong volume of anything thicker.
• Finish the output line above the water surface, and run the intake line all the way to the bottom of the reservoir.
• Set the aquarium’s actual water volume in the app, not its nameplate size. The app doses on the volume you give it, and a 20-gallon reef with rock and sand in it holds nearer 15. Getting this wrong is the most likely cause of a systematic overdose.
• Quick Adjust is deliberately capped at ±15% in either direction. Move parameters in small steps.
• At end of life, dispose of it through an electrical waste collection point or a dealer who takes them, not with household waste (EU directive 2002/96/EC).

Warranty & Support

Seachem guarantee this product to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase, extendable to five years if you register it with Seachem. The one exception is the doser’s pump head, which is guaranteed for six months as a wear part. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective part at Seachem’s option, and does not cover damage from accident, misuse or lack of reasonable care, modification or attempted repair by anyone other than Seachem, or running the unit on an electrical supply other than the one specified on the packaging.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
