Quickly treats fungus or cottony growth, mouth and body fungus and reddening of the fins and body as well as internal and external bacterial infections. Broad-spectrum treatment prevents the development of resistant strains of disease-causing organisms. Compatibility

Freshwater and saltwater, including reef tanks. API state it is safe with invertebrates — corals and anemones — and with delicate and scaleless fish such as tetras, discus fry and loaches, which is the reason it gets reached for where a copper or malachite treatment cannot go.

It does not harm the biological filter, so the tank does not need to be stripped back before a course. API make it to be used with their other products, and pair it with MELAFIX where an infection needs both covered.

What has to come out or be switched off for the week: activated carbon, the protein skimmer and the UV steriliser.

Dosage & Directions

• Dose: 5 ml per 38 litres (API’s figure: 5 ml per 10 US gallons)
• Course: once a day for 7 days
• After the course: a 25% water change. Repeat the course if the problem has not cleared.

API list it for fungal and bacterial infections — cottony growth on the mouth or fins, body fungus, and reddening of the fins or body.

Before you start: take the activated carbon out, and switch the protein skimmer and UV steriliser off for the week. Carbon strips the treatment out, and a skimmer pulls it out of a marine tank fast. In saltwater without filtration running you may see a slight haze; that is expected.

Pack Size

118 ml (4 fl oz). A full seven-day course on a 100 litre tank uses about 92 ml, so this bottle is one course for a tank that size — if you expect to repeat the course, buy the larger bottle.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
