Compatibility

Freshwater planted tanks. Used to treat new water plants before they go into the aquarium. ISTA item I-765 (this 120ml size; a 250ml, I-742, is also made).

Dosage & Directions

What it does. ISTA’s own description: a crystallization-based treatment using multiple active elements that kills snails, whelks, leeches and hydra, including their eggs, without harming the plant.

How it’s used. Soak the new water plant in the solution for 30 minutes before planting it in the tank. This is a pre-planting dip, not a treatment dosed into an established, stocked aquarium.

Pack size. 120 ml, reported to treat roughly 800 L used this way.

One distributor describes the active ingredient as copper-based and warns it is not safe for shrimp or other invertebrates. We’ve only found that from a single non-manufacturer source, so treat it as a caution to check before use around invertebrates rather than a confirmed spec; ask us to verify with the supplier if that matters for your tank.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
