Compatibility

Fluval item A20126, for the 107, 207, 307 and 407 canister filters. It does not fit the 06 series or the FX series.

Setup & Use

The primer is the pump on the motor head that fills the canister at start-up. Replacing it is a motor-head job: unplug the filter, take the head off, unclip the old primer assembly with its cover and fit the new.

Once fitted, a few pumps of the handle should fill the canister. If it still will not prime after that, the problem is usually an air leak at the AquaStop O-ring rather than the primer itself — check that next.

Safety & Precautions

Unplug the unit at the mains before putting your hands in the tank or opening it up. Water and a live mains connection are the one combination in this hobby that can actually kill you.

Leave a drip loop in the cable — a downward bend below the socket — so water running down the flex drips off the bottom of the loop instead of running into the socket.

Unplug the filter and close the AquaStop valve before removing the motor head.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
