Betta Basics is designed to provide the optimal environment for both betta and plant. Betta Basics removes any chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia. It buffers the water to a pH of 7.0 and provides a healthy environment for fish and plant.

Compatibility

Freshwater, and safe with plants. It is designed for betta bowls and small unfiltered tanks: it removes chlorine and chloramine, detoxifies ammonia and buffers the water to pH 7.0 in one step.

Safe to use with the fish in place — the betta can go back in as soon as the water temperature matches.

Dosage & Directions

Use 5 mL for every 1.25 L of water at each water change; in a betta-only bowl, 5 mL for every 4 L (1 US gallon). Two or three water changes a week gives the best result.

It will not clear cloudy water. Cloudiness in an unfiltered bowl comes from organic build-up, so feed less and change water more often rather than dosing more.

Buy the size you will get through in a reasonable time and keep the bottle closed, cool and out of direct sun. A part-used bottle that has stood open for a year is poorer value than a small fresh one whatever it cost per millilitre.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
