Description

Specifications

What it is. A dosing scale built for measuring dry aquarium products by weight rather than volume. Seachem’s own framing: a companion tool for accurate dosing of any dry chemical or supplement, not limited to their own product line.

Seachem’s own spec. Weighs up to 300 g in 0.1 g increments; switches between grams and ounces; corrosion-resistant plastic housing; 23 cm long x 5.5 cm wide; 54 g. Runs on 2 AAA batteries, included.

Operation. Three-button interface: on/off, mode (unit switch) and tare.

Setup & Use

Tare before weighing. The tare function zeroes out the weight of the spoon itself, so the display reads only the product being dosed.

Switching units. Power on, wait for the display to read 0.0, then press MODE to toggle between grams and ounces.

Rinse and dry the spoon head after every use, Seachem’s own guidance, which both protects the plastic housing over time and stops one supplement’s residue cross-contaminating the next dose.
