Seachem Stability will rapidly and safely establish the aquarium biofilter in freshwater and marine systems, thereby preventing the #1 cause of fish death: “new tank syndrome”. Stability is formulated specifically for the aquarium and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. The bacteria employed by Stability are non-sulfur fixing and will not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide. Stability is completely harmless to all aquatic organisms as well as aquatic plants, thus there is no danger of over use.

The bacteria used in competing products are inherently unstable. The conditions necessary for their growth and development fall into a very narrow range of temperatures, pH, organic loads, etc. When any of these parameters are not strictly within the proper range, the bacterial culture quickly crashes and dies. Stability is not limited this way. The necessary conditions for the growth of Stability’s bacteria strains encompass a very broad range. When other bacteria begin to die off (usually from high organic loads caused by the undetected death of an organism), Stability simply becomes more effective.

Compatibility

Freshwater and marine, and safe in planted tanks and with invertebrates. The bacteria are non-sulphur species, so they cannot produce the hydrogen sulphide that some other starter cultures do.

Turn UV sterilisers and ozone off while you are dosing and for a day or two afterwards — both kill the bacteria you have just paid for. It can be used alongside Prime and the other Seachem conditioners.

Dosage & Directions

On the day the tank is set up, use 5 mL for every 40 L (10 US gallons). Then use 5 mL for every 80 L (20 US gallons) once a day for the next seven days. Fish may be added on day one.

Dose again after a water change, after adding new fish, and after any course of medication — those are the three moments a mature filter is most likely to stall. Shake well before use.

Unopened, Stability keeps for about six years, so a larger bottle does not go to waste the way a live culture would.

Buy the size you will get through in a reasonable time and keep the bottle closed, cool and out of direct sun. A part-used bottle that has stood open for a year is poorer value than a small fresh one whatever it cost per millilitre.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
