Reef Complete is a concentrated (160,000 mg/L) optimized blend of ionic calcium designed to restore and maintain calcium to levels found in natural seawater without affecting pH. Calcium and carbonates are essential to all coral growth. If either becomes deficient, coral growth will cease, followed by a rapid decline in coral health. To prevent this you must provide calcium (Reef Complete) and carbonates (Reef Builder or Reef Carbonate).

Reef Complete also includes magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical utilization ratios (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr). This allows one to maintain these two important elements while maintaining calcium.

Reef Complete is a blended product. It is not simply calcium chloride. Commercially available calcium chloride contains ammonia. Unlike other ionic calcium supplements, Reef Complete is blended to a higher pH in order to force the ammonia to gas off into the atmosphere. In addition, Reef Complete is more concentrated than any other liquid product on the market. Reef Complete contains 160,000 ppm calcium. Our nearest competitor’s product is only 110,000 ppm calcium.

Compatibility

What it is. Seachem’s most concentrated liquid ionic calcium source (160,000 mg/L), formulated to restore and maintain calcium at natural-seawater levels without affecting pH. It carries magnesium and strontium alongside the calcium, in the ratio reef organisms actually use them (100 Ca : 5 Mg : 0.1 Sr).

Where this sits in the Seachem range. Reef Complete is the liquid version of Reef Advantage Calcium: the same ionic calcium, magnesium and strontium blend in a different form. No shaking or pre-dilution needed before dosing.

Pack sizes. Seachem sells Reef Complete in 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 2 L and 4 L bottles.

Dosage & Directions

Seachem’s own dose (beginner). 1 capful (5 ml) per 80 L (20 US gallons), twice a week.

Advanced dosing. Each 5 ml/80 L raises calcium by about 10 mg/L; Seachem’s target range is 380 to 420 mg/L. Do not exceed 12.5 ml/80 L per day.

Continuous drip. For a dosing pump, Seachem’s own formula is m = vc/160, where m is ml to add, v is tank volume in litres and c is the desired calcium increase in mg/L.

Keep it apart from carbonate additives. Do not mix directly with any carbonate supplement (Reef Buffer, Reef Builder, etc.). Dose at least 30 minutes apart, or on alternate days, so the two don’t precipitate calcium carbonate before it dissolves into the water.

Handling. Causes serious eye irritation; avoid skin contact and keep out of reach of children.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
