Setup & Use

Mount it on the suction cups against the back or side glass, fully submerged, with the outlet below the water line. Prime it by tilting it once under water to release trapped air — an internal filter that has air locked in the chamber will run noisy and move very little water.

The spray bar is the more useful outlet in a planted or fish tank; point it along the back glass and let the flow return down the length. Open the aeration tube if you want surface agitation, close it if you are running CO₂.

Rinse the sponge in tank water when flow drops — never under the tap. Where two extra cartridges are fitted, stagger their cleaning so the bacterial colony is never disturbed all at once.

Compatibility

Freshwater and marine aquariums up to about 265 litres. As a standalone filter it suits community tanks, turtle and terrapin setups and quarantine tanks; on a larger system it makes a good supplementary filter or a way of running a chemical medium in a dedicated cartridge.

The expansion cartridges are the reason to buy the Pro over the plain Shark: media capacity nearly doubles without changing the pump.

Safety & Precautions

Use an earthed socket and leave a drip loop in the lead. Unplug before putting hands in the tank or opening the filter body.

It must run fully submerged and must not be run dry — switch it off before a water change that will drop the level below the unit. Check the suction cups every few months; they perish, and a filter that falls face-down into the substrate blocks its own intake.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.

Warranty & Support

Sicce guarantee this product against defects of materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase, extended to 5 years if you register it with Sicce and upload the purchase receipt. The pump impeller carries 6 months rather than the full term.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first — most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.
