Pack Size & Dosage

100 ml, at ten times concentration. TRITON now supply the Bromine macro element as a 100 ml bottle at ten times the strength of the old one-litre liquid, so one bottle does the work of the litre it replaced. This listing used to say 1000 ml; the 100 ml concentrate is the current format and it is what we ship. The price on this page has not been changed to reflect it. Ask us if you want it confirmed before ordering.

Ten times the strength means ten times the care. A dosing error that would have been minor with the old litre bottle is a tenfold error with this one. Measure with a syringe rather than a cap, and if you have TRITON stock bought before the change, check the label before you carry an old dose across.

You need an ICP-OES analysis before you dose this. TRITON publish no general dosing schedule for single elements. The dose comes from the DOSE tab of your own ICP analysis, and targeted single-element correction is the entire method the range is built around. Dosing a macro element blind is how a reef tank acquires an imbalance harder to fix than the one it started with.

Compatibility

Bromine is a macro element, not a trace one. Natural seawater carries approximately 62 mg/L. TRITON’s research associates it specifically with pink coloration in corals.

• Marine reef aquariums only. This is a seawater supplement and has no application in a freshwater tank.
• Runs alongside whatever supplies your calcium and alkalinity: Core7 Flex, TRITON Balling salts, a calcium reactor, two-part or kalkwasser. It corrects one element and contributes no calcium, alkalinity or magnesium of its own.
• TRITON place it at Intermediate skill level in their own classification of the range.
• Beneficial for SPS colour and health, with the pink pigments the clearest published association.
• TRITON warn that bromine can become dangerous to certain species, Acropora in particular, at elevated concentrations.
• Bromine is commonly found in construction dust, so a raised reading in a tank near building work may have arrived without anyone dosing it.
• This bottle is a ten-times concentrate, which means a dosing error is a tenfold error. It is not interchangeable by volume with the older one-litre format.

This is not a supplement you dose on a schedule. TRITON publish no general dosing rate for it. The amount comes from the DOSE tab of your own ICP-OES analysis, which measures 45 parameters at parts-per-billion precision. Targeted single-element correction against a measured result is the whole method this range is built around.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
