These products are suitable for 2-Part, 3-Part or other D.I.Y. supplement methods used by reef keepers and professional aquarists.

Compatibility

Calcium chloride dihydrate raises calcium and nothing else. Calcium sits at approximately 420–440 mg/L in natural seawater and is one of the three parameters corals consume daily building skeleton.

• Marine reef aquariums. Two-part, three-part, Balling or any other do-it-yourself dosing scheme — TRITON list all of these as intended uses.
• Pairs with TRITON NaHCO3 for alkalinity and TRITON MgCl2 for magnesium — the three of them cover what TRITON call the big three reef parameters.
• Add TRITON Infusion to the calcium solution and a Balling setup mixed from these salts becomes the full TRITON Method. That is TRITON’s own instruction, and Infusion is a separate product.
• Usable as a one-off correction alongside Core7 or a calcium reactor, not only as a standing dosing scheme.
• Dissolve in RO/DI water before anything goes into the tank.

TRITON pack their DIY macro salts in-house and quality-control every batch at TRITON Labs. They are meant for reef keepers mixing their own solutions rather than buying them ready-made.

Dosage & Directions

3 g of TRITON CaCl2 per 100 litres of aquarium water raises calcium by approximately 10 mg/L. Natural seawater sits at approximately 420–440 mg/L, which is the range TRITON dose toward.

• Dissolve the powder in RO/DI water before adding it, and add the solution to an area with good flow.
• As a Balling stock solution, TRITON’s own recipe is 715 g of CaCl2 into 8 litres of RO/DI water, then topped up to a final 10 litres.
• TRITON’s instruction is to add TRITON Infusion to this calcium solution. That single step is what turns a Balling setup into the full TRITON Method — Infusion is a separate product.
• Correct calcium with this salt rather than by raising your Core7 component 2, which is TRITON’s explicit advice for a calcium drop.

Once your dosing is running, the per-day amount should come from the DOSE tab of your ICP-OES analysis rather than from a fixed schedule.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
