Compatibility

NH Alpha is the nitrogen supplement for a reef aquarium that is otherwise healthy: no cyanobacteria and no nuisance algae. That condition, not the chemistry, is what separates it from NO Beta.

• Use it when nitrogen is confirmed deficient and the tank has no cyano or algae problem. If cyano or nuisance algae are present, TRITON’s counterpart product NO Beta is the one formulated for that case.
• TRITON’s stated precondition is an N-DOC analysis confirming nitrogen deficiency, with TNb in the green range.
• The symptoms it addresses are fading coral coloration, tissue necrosis (rapid or slow) and declining vitality in a tank whose calcium and alkalinity are already stable.
• Accelerates uptake of trace-element supplements and supports a healthy nitrogen cycle alongside the rest of the TRITON range.
• Marine reef aquariums only.

TRITON’s Organics line is designed to be dosed against an N-DOC analysis, which measures inorganic carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen and reports the nitrogen-to-carbon-to-phosphorus ratio. The specific product and amount come out of that result.

Dosage & Directions

The dose is meant to come from your N-DOC analysis, printed under its Dosage tab. NH Alpha is one of the few products in the Organics line for which TRITON also publish a fallback:

• Without N-DOC results: if corals show fading colour despite ICP-guided dosing, dose 1 ml of NH Alpha per 500 litres of aquarium water per day.
• Aim for a parallel phosphate level of approximately 0.02 to 0.07 mg/L, depending on your habitat.
• Monitor the coral response and adjust from there.
• Nitrogen and phosphorus are managed together. A nitrogen correction without a phosphate target is half a change.

Retest with N-DOC to track where the ratio has moved rather than assuming the dose is still right weeks later.

Pack Size

A 100 ml bottle of liquid supplement.

• At TRITON’s fallback rate of 1 ml per 500 litres per day, 100 ml is 100 days of dosing for a 500-litre system.
• Dosed by the millilitre, so measure with a syringe rather than a cap (our advice, not TRITON’s).

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
