Compatibility

NO Beta is the nitrogen supplement for a reef aquarium that has cyanobacteria or nuisance algae alongside its nitrogen deficiency. It is the counterpart to NH Alpha, formulated for a compromised system rather than a healthy one.

• Use it when cyano or algae are present. If the tank is clean of both, NH Alpha is the version TRITON point you at.
• It addresses the dual problem — low nitrogen and bacterial coatings — rather than nitrogen alone.
• For an active cyanobacteria outbreak, TRITON’s sequence is to treat the acute outbreak first with their dedicated cyanobacteria treatment, and use NO Beta for the ongoing nutrient management that keeps it from returning.
• Supports a healthy nitrogen cycle while the bacterial issue is being addressed, and helps hold nutrient levels to the TRITON Ratio.
• Marine reef aquariums only.

TRITON’s Organics line is designed to be dosed against an N-DOC analysis, which measures inorganic carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen and reports the nitrogen-to-carbon-to-phosphorus ratio. The specific product and amount come out of that result.

Dosage & Directions

TRITON publish no fixed fallback rate for NO Beta. For NH Alpha they print a without-N-DOC figure and for both phosphorus supplements a starting dose, but NO Beta’s dosing instructions send you to the analysis and nowhere else. We are not going to borrow NH Alpha’s number for it: it is a different formulation for a different tank condition.

• Run a TRITON N-DOC test, select your Habitat type, then select Cyanobacteria as the problem. The NO Beta dosing instructions appear under the Dosage tab of the analysis.
• TRITON also provide online dosing calculators for this product.
• Aim for a parallel phosphate level of approximately 0.02–0.07 mg/L.
• Retest to confirm the ratio is moving rather than holding the same dose indefinitely.

If you want the dose before the analysis comes back, TRITON’s own support team is the right place to ask — not a general schedule, because there is not one.

Pack Size

A 100 ml bottle of liquid supplement.

• Dosed by the millilitre against an N-DOC result, so measure with a syringe rather than a cap — our advice, not TRITON’s.
• Same bottle size as its counterpart NH Alpha, which makes the two easy to confuse on a shelf. They are not interchangeable: one is for a tank with cyano, the other for a tank without.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
