Compatibility

P Beta is the phosphorus supplement for a reef aquarium that already has cyanobacteria or nuisance algae. It delivers similar organic and inorganic phosphorus compounds to P Alpha, formulated for a compromised system.

• Use it when phosphorus is low and cyano or algae are present. If the system is clean of both, P Alpha is the version TRITON point you at.
• Helps balance the nitrogen-to-carbon-to-phosphorus ratio even in a system that is not in good order, which is the case P Alpha is not built for.
• ICP-OES testing is recommended for the baseline and for monitoring.
• Marine reef aquariums only.

TRITON’s Organics line is designed to be dosed against an N-DOC analysis, which measures inorganic carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen and reports the nitrogen-to-carbon-to-phosphorus ratio. The specific product and amount come out of that result.

Dosage & Directions

Starting dosage: 0.1 ml per 100 litres of aquarium water per day. TRITON print this figure once, in the section that introduces both phosphorus supplements, and it covers P Beta as well as P Alpha.

• The phosphate requirement is always individual — increase slowly, and verify with regular PO4 measurements.
• Dosing instructions specific to your system appear under the Dosage tab of your ICP or N-DOC analysis.
• P Beta’s own dosing notes carry no separate number: TRITON’s instruction there is to establish the baseline by ICP-OES rather than to follow a schedule.

Pack Size

A 100 ml bottle of liquid supplement.

• At the 0.1 ml per 100 litres starting rate, 100 ml lasts a very long time in a typical system.
• Same bottle size as P Alpha. The two are not interchangeable — one is for a tank with cyano or algae, the other for a tank without.
• Doses this small need a syringe, not a cap — our advice, not TRITON’s.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
