Aquarium Soil ensures good and active growth from the beginning, and boosts the red plant shades.
It is a complete substrate, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer.
Aquarium Soil is further an active bottom layer that lowers the pH value and slightly affects the water chemistry.
We recommend that you change 25-50% of the water min. twice a week during the first 4 weeks after establishing the aquarium.
How do I calculate the quantity of Soil or Soil Powder needed for my tank?
In our example, 90 x 60 x 5/1000 = 43,2 L Soil/Soil Powder needed.
Excellent purchase. Got the product via fedex
I am reviewing 3 weeks after starting the tank. Both stem and carpet plants growing very well so far. It is a good substrate and seems a better alternative to amazonia.
Best soil for aquascaping.
Best Alternative to Amazonia Soil... Also does not leach Ammonia compare to Amazonia Soil. Could have given 5 star but it has similar issue like Amazonia regular soil where its to mushy and does not hold stems when using without sand or any other gravel topping
I will further place a review in a months time regarding the quality of the actual product. I have placed it as a top layer for my new aqaurium & want to check the growth success of my aquatic plants before posting a review. Cheers!
