Discus Food

Formulated diets for discus, a species that needs a higher protein content and a graduated pellet size as it grows. DiscusX’s Nutriboost range, sold in named grades like Gold, Platinum and Ruby, and its GrowX pellet sizes from X1 through XL, are built specifically around discus growth stages rather than being a general cichlid food. Hikari’s Discus Biogold and Ocean Nutrition’s Discus Flake cover the same need in a more familiar pellet and flake format, for keepers who want a simpler feeding routine without the graduated sizing.
