Material: steel, matte steel finish. B2N describe their tools as made from “best grade steel” and hand-finished; they do not publish a grade number or an alloy, so we cannot quote one.

Reach, honestly. A 25 cm tool held at a working angle gets you comfortably to the substrate of a tank around 35–40 cm deep. In anything deeper your hand goes in the water. That is arithmetic rather than a fault — but it is worth knowing before you order if you keep a tall tank.

Looking after it — our advice, not a manufacturer instruction. B2N publish no care instructions. Steel aquascaping tools last for years if you rinse them in fresh water and dry them properly after every session, and they spot and pit if you put them away wet. If you use them in a marine tank, rinsing is not optional — salt creep will find any water left on the shanks or inside the joint.

Compatibility

What this tool is for: planting aquatic stem plants into the substrate. B2N’s own description is that the curved shanks let you plant stem plants with minimum tissue damage — the angle lets you push the stem in and withdraw the tweezers sideways without dragging the plant back out.

Flexed or straight? B2N make both, and their descriptions divide the job cleanly. Straight tweezers are for planting delicate plants with the least effort — carpeting plants, small portions, anything where you want to go straight down. Flexed tweezers are the stem-plant tool, and the angle also helps when you are working around hardscape or planting towards the back of a tank. Most aquascapers who plant regularly end up with both. We stock the Pro Series Straight Tweezers as well.

Pro Series or Prime Series? B2N split the tool range in two. Pro Series is aimed at intermediate and advanced aquascapers. Prime Series is tailored to beginner and intermediate aquascapers and, specifically, to nano and pico layouts — the tools are shorter and easier to handle in a small tank. Both series use the same steel; what changes is the size and the geometry, not the quality.

Freshwater and marine. Nothing about the tool restricts it to planted tanks — tweezers this length are as useful for placing frags, feeding corals or retrieving something from behind a rock. See the care note in the specifications if you are using it in saltwater.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
