Instructions for use:

  • Use 1 kg of Blue Treasure Reef Sea Salt mix with 7.5 gallons (28.5 liters) of deionized water until the salt is completely dissolved or take “35 grams” of Reef Sea Salt dissolving in 1 liter of deionized water to make synthetic seawater.
  • At a temperature of 23-25C / 73-77F, the specific gravity of salt water should be between 1.024 and 1.026.
Blue Treasure Reef Sea Salt's new formula is the result of years of research into the physiological demands of corals in the reef aquarium environment and the growth and reproduction of other living marine organisms throughout the world. It is the ideal product for home saltwater aquariums and other large aquariums. It is produced by extremely strict manufacturing processes in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001: 2008. Unlike other industrial evaporated salts, Blue Treasure Salt's sodium chloride is purified from pure, uncontaminated underground brine. It is an extremely rare underground brine source in the world, only found in the Bohai Bay and Huanghai Bay areas. This rich underground brine allows us to produce the highest quality sodium chloride to be found anywhere on Earth. In addition to this, since 1966, the research department of the Ocean University of China has helped Blue Treasure to use these natural resources and their scientific research allows us to supply the best quality sea salt. The raw materials for all Blue Treasure Synthetic Sea Salts are selected from pure, food-grade materials and contain all trace elements found in natural seawater. Other special vitamins and protective colloids are added to Blue Treasure Salt to enhance the immune functions of living marine organisms.
