• EHEIM order no.: 7633090
• Mains frequency: 50 Hz. EHEIM's 60 Hz version of the same part is 7633100 — this is the 50 Hz one, which is what Indian mains needs.
• Series: EHEIM list this impeller for filters from series 88011 onwards.
• Supplied as: the impeller alone. The shaft with bushings is a separate EHEIM part, order no. 7438430.

Compatibility

EHEIM list 7633090 on the spare-part sheet for the classic 350, which covers the 2215 external filter and the 1215 pump head. The classic 250 (2213) and classic 600 (2217) take different impellers — 7632600 and 7633590 respectively.

Setup & Use

Before opening the pump head: switch the filter off at the mains, close the taps or disconnect the hoses, and lift the pump head clear of the tank. Water in the canister will run back if the hoses are opened at height.

Twist the pump cover off the underside of the pump head and pull the old impeller straight off the shaft. Clean out the impeller chamber, slide the new impeller on, and refit the pump cover so it locks. Reconnect the hoses, prime the filter and switch it back on. A short burst of air noise as the last of the air clears is normal; a continuous rattle is not, and means the impeller or shaft is not seated.

Safety & Precautions

Switch the filter off at the mains and disconnect it before you open the pump head. The ceramic shaft the impeller runs on is brittle — do not lever or force the impeller on or off it. Check the two rubber bushings at the same time; a worn bushing is the usual reason a filter with a new impeller is still noisy.

Clean the impeller and its chamber with the EHEIM brush set and tank water only. No detergent, and nothing in a dishwasher. Make sure the impeller is seated fully and turns freely by hand before the pump cover goes back on, and never run the filter dry.

One EHEIM impeller: the magnet and vane assembly as a single moulded part. No shaft, no bushings and no pump cover — those are ordered separately.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
