The Exo Terra® Analog Hygrometer allows you to carefully monitor the humidity level in your terrarium. Correct humidity levels are essential for the overall health of reptiles and amphibians. Incorrect humidity levels may lead to electrolyte imbalance, dehydration, dysecdysis (improper shedding), hyperkeratosis (thickening of the horny layers of the skin), respiratory infections, etc… Humidity requirements vary greatly depending on the species and their natural environmental conditions. Carefully research the specific humidity needs of your reptile or amphibian species.
Installation:
1. Remove paper backing.
2. Ensure surface is clean and dry.
3. Press hygrometer firmly onto surface.
Measuring is knowing.
Reptiles are ectotherm, and use heat from an external source to thermoregulate their optimal body temperature. Providing the correct species related temperature gradient and humidity levels in the terrarium is an important factor for the long term husbandry of reptiles and amphibians. Setup & Use
- Remove the paper backing, make sure the surface is clean and dry, then press the hygrometer on firmly.
- It shows humidity on an easy-to-read analog dial.
- Humidity needs differ a lot between species, so look up the range for your reptile or amphibian before you set a target.
- Low or high humidity can lead to dehydration, poor shedding and respiratory infections.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
