Prodibio Stop Ammo is effective in freshwater and marine water and is a natural plant extract which neutralizes ammonia and reduces the production of nitrites in aquariums and water used for fish transport.

How to use Stop Ammo ?

Compatibility

Stop Ammo is a rescue and start-up product rather than a standing additive. It is a plant extract (Prodibio remove the saponins, which would otherwise make a plant extract unsafe for fish) and it binds ammonia rather than destroying it.

• Freshwater and marine. One of the few products in the range that works in both.
• Prodibio’s stated behaviour: it binds up to 70% of the ammonium in the water and then releases it back at a steady, incremental rate, so the bacteria get to process it without the fish taking the spike.
• Use it when starting an aquarium, when an ammonia or nitrite spike is likely (a dead fish, decomposing plants, a filter clean, overfeeding, new livestock) and in transport water to reduce ammonia and stress.
• It limits and reduces nitrite as a consequence of trapping the ammonia upstream of it.
• It does not replace biological filtration. Prodibio’s own pairing for that is BioDigest, and Stop Ammo buys the bacteria time rather than doing their job.

The signs Prodibio describe for the problem it solves: white, milky water, fish at the surface gulping air, and a characteristic smell at the water surface.

Pack Size

30 sealed glass ampoules of 1 ml. Prodibio’s current figure is one ampoule for up to 200 litres / 50 US gallons.

• 30 ampoules is 30 doses for a tank of 200 litres or less.
• Because this is an emergency and start-up product rather than a fortnightly one, a 30-pack is a shop-sized or multi-tank quantity. Prodibio also make it in a 6-pack.
• Useful to keep a few aside specifically for transport and quarantine water rather than the display tank.

Prodibio supply this as sealed 1 ml glass ampoules. The glass is the point: it keeps the contents away from oxygen until the moment you use them. Shake the ampoule, put the cap over one tip and press with your thumb to snap it, then turn it open-end down just above the water, snap the other tip and pour.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
