Blue Treasure Reef Sand 2 (1-2mm) 20 kg

Blue Treasure Coral Sand is taken from the pollution-free island in south sea of China, no phosphate, nitrate and surface contaminants. Coral sand is with natural porous, it is suited to be as bottom sand filter in aquarium tank owing to its big surface area, it can simulate river bed and sea beach in addition it can grow beneficial bacteria as well. The main content of the coral sand is calcium carbonate, which can be conducive to the stability of pH value in seawater.

It's a good sand for the cost compared to other products and quantity is also good enough. I used around 10kg for 3feet*1feet setup giving me a constant 1 inch later. The sand requires good amount of cleaning from the start. I had to clean it under the water at least 5-6 times to get rid of the cloudiness immediately but if you are ok the cloudiness will be gone over 3-4 days on itself with bit of filter floss in filter compartment.
