Specifications

• Model: Exo Terra Feeding Dish Medium (PT2811).
• Range: Exo Terra currently make the Feeding Dish in three sizes — Medium (PT2811), Large (PT2812) and X-Large (PT2813). The Medium is the smallest of the three.
• Material: food-grade resin.
• Inside surface: coated, non-porous and non-pitted, so it does not absorb bacteria and can be cleaned and disinfected properly.
• Outside finish: naturalistic rock texture in a neutral colour, made to sit in a desert or tropical setup without looking like equipment.
• Built-in safety steps inside the bowl, so small reptiles, amphibians and insects can climb back out.
• Stability: shaped and weighted so a larger reptile does not tip it over.

Dimensions are not published. Exo Terra print a measurement block on their Water Dish pages but not on any Feeding Dish page, so there is no manufacturer figure for this bowl. We are not carrying one over from a similarly-named product — ask us and we will measure the one in stock.

Setup & Use

The dish exists to keep food off the substrate — clean, in one place, and findable.

• Put it somewhere the animal already goes. A bowl in an unvisited corner does not get used.
• The safety steps are there so feeder insects and small animals can get out. Check they are not buried when you set the dish into a deep substrate — sinking it flush defeats them.
• Do not use it as a water dish. Exo Terra make a separate Water Dish range with a different profile for that.
• Empty and wash it between feeds. Uneaten live food and leftover greens in a warm terrarium go bad fast, and the non-porous coating only helps if you actually clean it.
• Wash it with plain hot water or a reptile-safe disinfectant and rinse thoroughly. Household detergent residue is a real risk in a food bowl.
• The resin is food-grade, so supplement powders — calcium, multivitamin — can be dusted straight into the dish.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
