A perfectly soft and moist pellet packed in nitrogen flushed foil bags for maximum freshness. Main characteristics are increased palatability and easy digestion. Contains garlic to improve disease resistance, krill for color enhancement, fresh seafood, plankton and Spirulina. This food is intended for carnivorous and omnivorous fish. Comes in small ( /- 1.2mm) and medium ( /- 3.1mm) pellets. Use the medium size for the larger fish from 10 cm onwards. Formula One is red and, like our frozen and flake products, it is produced with higher protein levels. Feed one to three times daily. Do not feed more than can be eaten within a few minutes. The foil pouch keeps oxygen out for maximum freshness. Once the inner foil bag is opened, keep lid tightly shut.

Feeding Guide

The pellet version of Formula One, for carnivorous and omnivorous marine tropical fish. Ocean Nutrition make it in Small (1.2 mm), Medium (3.1 mm) and XL (8 mm) — match the pellet to the mouth, not to the fish’s length.

Ocean Nutrition’s instruction for this food: feed one to three times daily, and never more than the fish clear in five minutes. Take out anything still drifting after that.

Several small feeds beat one large one. Uneaten food is the single biggest source of the nitrate and phosphate that later show up as algae.

Pellets suit mid-water and bottom feeders better than flake because they sink and hold together, so less of the feed ends up in the overflow.

Ocean Nutrition make this line in 100 g, 200 g and 400 g jars, and in 5 kg and 10 kg buckets for the XL pellet.

Buy the size you will use within a few months. Dry food loses vitamin content once the tub has been opened and the air is getting at it, so a big tub on a small tank is a false economy.

Keep the lid closed and the tub dry, cool and out of sunlight. Never shake wet hands over it or dip a wet net in — damp is what turns a good tub mouldy.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
