I brought it for my 2 ft deep tank. It is pretty bright & claims to be splash proof. The side shades are good additional as it avoids the glare that such a bright light can have leaking from corners. I can see my plants pearling well which is a good sign. I am yet to see plants get red. I shipping has been disappointing with ship rocket & despite my address being quite well located, I faced multiple shipping failures. Its controller is BT controlled & controller light starts blinking as soon as BT goes out of range. Controlling App is not that great & just does the job to be honest & seems to be all over the place.
