AquaForest Kalium 1000 ml

Supplement containing highly concentrated potassium. Potassium is an important element responsible for neurological functions. In soft corals, potassium participates in the transport of nutrients. In SPS corals the deficiency of this valuable element causes a faded pink and red color. Usage of zeolites-based filtration media in the aquarium may lead to potassium deficiency. Regular and balanced use of Kalium maintains a proper level of potassium and strengthens the red and pink coloration of SPS corals. Dosage: 10 ml of the product increases the potassium level by 10 mg/l (ppm) in 100 liters (27 US gal) of water. The recommended level of potassium in the reef aquarium is 360 – 380 mg/l. Dosage should be based on micro elements consumption. Note, that each aquarium is different and final dosage depends on the coral cast and individual aquarium needs. Both, deficiency and excess micro nutrients will affect aquarium inhabitants, therefore dosage should be selected and modified on the basis of regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.
